27-year-old man shot in Stony Island Park

At about 11:40 p.m. Thursday, a 27-year-old man was shot in the 8400 block of South Cregier Avenue. He was wounded in the shoulder as he was leaving his house, police said. Someone took him to Advocate Trinity Hospital in Illinois, where he's expected to recover.
