42-year-old man shot in Tri-Taylor

A 42-year-old man was wounded about 1 a.m. during a gang-related shooting in the parking lot of a KFC in the 1100 block of South Western Avenue in the city's Tri-Taylor neighborhood.The 42-year-old was on a sidewalk near the lot when the gunman approached on foot and fired shots, hitting him in the left side of the face and in the left arm. The shooter fled in a dark-colored sport-utility vehicle and the victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital
