30 year old man shot dead in Back of the Yards

The Back of the Yards shooting happened in the 5400 block of South Bishop Street about 10:40 p.m. Someone shot Anthony Rivers in the back and the back of the head while he was seated in a van. Rivers got out of the van and collapsed in a nearby alley. 
Paramedics took him to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead at 11:20 p.m. 
Rivers lived in the 800 block of East 87th Place.

    This is why Liberals want our guns so a thug can take your family's life. God not man enough to talk the problem out just shoot someone in the back.
