25-year-old man shot in Brighton Park
About 2:50 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the 4300 block of South Western Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The man was walking down the sidewalk when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot. The man sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
