16-year-old boy shot in Lawndale

A  16-year-old boy was wounded tonight in shooting on the West Side.
Someone shot the boy in the leg in the 1600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood at 8:02 p.m..
The boy told police he heard shots and felt pain. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
