Woman found dead in West Side park

A 35-year-old woman was found dead in Douglas Park this afternoon, authorities said.
Police said the body was found about 1:30 p.m. in the West Side park.
The Cook County medical examiner's office said it was called to the 1400 block of South California Avenue in the park where a woman suffered head trauma and was dead on the scene.
