Police have issued an alert about a man in his 20s who has been exposing himself
and trying to grab girls in the Albany Park and North Park
neighborhoods.
The man has stopped girls after school and tried to start
a conversation, “only to then expose himself or grab at the girls as they flee
from him,”
The incidents happened in the 4900 block of North Troy Street and the 3800 block
of West Leland Avenue in the Albany Park neighborhood, and the 3200 block of
West Catalpa Avenue in the North Park neighborhood.
Police described the man as Hispanic, between 5-foot-6 and
5-foot-10 and about 140 pounds. In one incident, he was wearing a gray hoodie
over a blue hoodie; in another, he was wearing a white sweater and blue jeans. He has light skin and hair that is short and dark brown or black.
