Man, 38, killed when vehicle strikes pole

A 38-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning when the vehicle he was driving crashed in the South Loop neighborhood.
About 3:20 a.m., a black BMW struck a light pole in the 1600 block of South Clark Street.
The driver was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:47 a.m..
The medical examiner's office identified him as Jon Sanders, of the 1800 block of South Federal Street.
