Armed robber shot by off-duty Chicago State University Officer

An armed robbery suspect was shot and wounded by an off-duty police officer from the Chicago State University Police Department, around 7 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Luella Avenue.
The suspect was taken to Trinity Hospital.
