About 11:30 p.m., a 47-year-old woman was shot as she stood on a porch in the 1300 block of South Springfield Avenue.
The shooting happened in the Lawndale neighborhood.
A male shooter approached on foot and fired, striking the woman in the left hand.The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in good condition
