15-year-old boy shot in South Chicago

The boy was in the 8300 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood when he was shot about 2 p.m., police said The boy was taken form the 8500 block of South Kingston following the shooting.
The boy was believed to have been wounded in the abdomen, and his condition was stabilized at Comer Children's Hospital
