Man dies days after being shot in leg

A 19-year-old man shot in the knee earlier this month died after he developed an infection while being treated.
His death was ruled a homicide.
 Darrell Austin, of the 9500 block of South Colfax Avenue, was shot about five blocks north of his home on Colfax Avenue on Nov. 9.
He ran home, called police, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday.
