In the Archer Heights collision in 5200 block of South Cicero Avenue on the
Southwest Side, the 61-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while crossing the
street. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak
Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 1:33 a.m..
The driver in the Archer Heights collision is in police custody
