19 year old shot in Chatham possibly during store hold up

A 19-year-old man was wounded this afternoon in a shooting on the South Side in the East Chatham neighborhood. The 19 year old may have been robbing a small retail store when he was shot, possibly by an employee of the store.
The shooting happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of East 82nd St.
The man, who suffered wounds to his arm and foot, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition was stabilized. The wounded man and four others maybe in Police custody stemming from the store hold up.
