1 shot, 1 shot dead in Washington Park

At about 6 p.m., a man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting in the Washington Park neighborhood.
That shooting happened on the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue. A 39-year-old man was shot in his chest and taken in serious-to-critical condition to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim, 40, was shot in his hip and buttocks and was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital
One victim, Ornette Massey, 38, of the 6000 block of South Indiana Avenue, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead
