Person found in West Side abandoned building was stabbed

A 19-year-old found dead in an abandoned building on the city's West Side was stabbed to death and was identified as a transgender person.
An autopsy determined today that Donta Gooden was stabbed to death and Gooden's death was ruled a homicide.
Gooden lived near the Taskforce Prevention and Community services, where Gooden, who also used the name "Tiffany", would use its services.
Gooden was found dead at an abandoned building on the 4800 Block of West Jackson Boulevard at about 11:19 p.m. Tuesday. Gooden was found on the second floor of the building.
