Man shot in South Shore

A man, 22, was shot in the chest at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of East 74th Street in the South Shore neighborhood. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in stable condition. The gunman wore a T-shirt wrapped around his face and fled the scene after the shooting.
