A 30-year-old man was killed early this morning in a hit-and-run accident in the
Ravenswood neighborhood.
The incident happened about 1:30
a.m. at an alley in the 2400 block of West Foster Avenue.
Decolie Esco, of the 4800 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. Drive, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston at 2:53 a.m..
The man, who was
in the area visiting his girlfriend, was dragged by the vehicle after being
struck. The incident took place on near an alley a block south of
Foster Avenue
