Girl, 12, shot on SW Side

A  12-year-old girl was recovering Wednesday evening after she was shot in the leg on the city's Southwest Side.
The child was hit in the right leg in the 6500 block of South Talman Avenue in the Marquette Park neighborhood at about 6:30 p.m..
The girl was taken to nearby Holy Cross Hospital, where her condition was stabilized
The 12-year-old girl was shot in the leg as she did her homework in front of her home Wednesday night on the Southwest Side.

    FATHER GOD I PRAY NO PEACE, NO REST, NO HIDING PLACE, NO COVERUPS, NO ALIBIS, NO BOND, NO NEXT VICTIMS, NO BRAGGING, NO SLEEP, NO PLANS FOR THE SHOOTER OR HIS FRIENDS. EXPOSE THEM ALL TO KEEP OUR CITY SAFE IN JESUS NAME.....AMEN!
