29-year-old shot in Garfield Park

A man walking in the 3200 block of West Walnut Street was shot about 2:10 a.m. on the city's West Side. The 29-year-old was shot in the groin and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, a couple blocks north, before being transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. He told police he heard shots and felt pain.
