22-year-old man shot in Humboldt Park

A 22-year-old man described as a gang member by police was in critical condition after being shot about 5:15 a.m. at a gas station in the 800 block of North Cicero Avenue in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side. Witnesses said they heard gunshots and the victim, hit in the chest, fell to the ground. He was taken to Stroger hospital.
