20-year-old man shot in Englewood

At about 11:30 p.m. a 20-year-old man shot in the chest was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Healthcare Center by a friend. He was shot in the 5600 block of South Princeton Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood. He was sitting on a porch when someone approached on a bicycle, dismounted, and started shooting. The 20-year-old is now in critical condition at John H. Stroger Jr., Hospital of Cook County.
