1 shot in Garfield Park

An  early morning shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood sent a 20-year-old man to a hospital. The man was walking down the street near Madison Street and Kilbourn Avenue at 12:20 a.m. when a gunman announced a robbery.
The man tried to run and the gunman shot him in the leg. He was taken to Stroger, where he was listed in good condition.
