Teen shot in Lawndale

A teenage boy was shot and wounded late Sunday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the city's West Side.
The victim, whose exact age wasn't immediately released, was wounded at about 9:25 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Millard Avenue.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious-to-critical condition.
