Man wounded in West Side shooting

A man described as in his 50s was wounded this evening in a shooting on the West Side in the city's Lawndale neighborhood.
The shooting happened shortly after 7 p.m. on the 3700 block of West Roosevelt Road.
The man was shot in his forearm, but he refused medical attention at the scene
