About 2:20 a.m. in the Gresham neighborhood, a man, age 20, was walking with
a woman he knows when they heard gunshots and he was struck in the head in the
8400 block of South Morgan Street. Officers who responded found the
victim lying on the ground, with the woman nearby.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was in serious
condition.
