49-year-old man shot in Lawndale

A 49-year-old man tried to wrestle a handgun away from one of three men trying to rob him and was shot in the hand about 11:30 p.m.. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition from the 4300 block of West Roosevelt Road in the Lawndale neighborhood.
