2 shot in Englewood

Two men were shot and taken to hospitals in the Englewood neighborhood Monday night.
It happened about 10:45 p.m. in the 500 block of West Marquette Road as the 21-year-old and 24-year-old were walking on a sidewalk.
The two saw a group of about eight people they did not know and one of them drew a gun and opened fired  hitting the men.
The younger victim suffered a gunshot wound to the groin and was taken in “stable” condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn while the other was shot in the ankle and taken in good condition to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center
