Man found beaten to death in Uptown park

The death of a man found in an Uptown park Thursday was ruled a homicide today by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The man, described as in his 30s, remained unidentified today. An autopsy determined the man died of blunt force trauma to the head due to assault.
