More shot, more shot dead 22 year old shot

About 7 p.m. Friday in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, a 22-year-old male was standing on a corner in the 7700 block of South Essex Avenue when he heard shots and began running, according to a police press release.  The victim then noticed he had been shot. He was taken in good condition to South Shore Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
