when i worked for the tollway i work witha really cool old guy that was palestinian he was born in humbolt park he told me growing up and it would be hot in the summer entire blocks would go in humbolt park and spread blankets and sleep it was like one huge block party there was never any problems and everyone had a great time then during the 80's it was screwed up i asked would you sleep out there now? he replied Hell no ! i wouldn't go in there during the day let alone at night the whole place is fucked up!
