38 YEAR OLD SHOT

At 12:01 a.m. in the 5800 block of South Peoria Street, a 38-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen after being shot by an unknown assailant, police said. The victim was taken in serious condition to Stroger hospital.
