1 shot, 1 shot dead in Hyde Park

About 12:15 a.m., someone opened fire in the hallway of an apartment building in the 5200 block of South Harper Avenue.
A 39-year-old man was shot in the chest and died at the scene.
A 22-year-old man was also hurt in the same shooting, Greer said. The younger man was struck in the hand and was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital in good condition
