22-year-old woman shot in Belmont Central

A 22-year-old woman standing outside of a garage at a party in the Belmont Central neighborhood was shot in the foot about 12:45 a.m. Two males approached the party, in the 2800 block of North McVicker Avenue, and fought with another male. One of them opened fire while walking away, hitting the woman in the foot. She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition had stabilized
