Boy, 17, dies after Chatham shooting

A  17-year-old boy died this afternoon after being shot Monday afternoon in the South Side's Chatham neighborhood.
Ladarius Brisco, of the 8200 block of South Vernon Avenue, was shot about 1 p.m. Monday in the 8200 block of South Champlain Avenue.
He was found with a gunshot wound to the head and taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition.
Brisco was declared dead at Stroger at 1:51 p.m. today
