37-year-old man shot in Chatham

In the 8100 block of South Ingleside Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, a 37-year-old man was shot in the hip about 3 a.m. He was taken to Advocate Christ, where his condition was stabilized. Police said the man was sitting in a parked vehicle when someone approached on foot and opened fire.
