A 31-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot while in a vehicle on the
Northwest Side.
The shooting happened at 4:30 a.m. while the
person was near the intersection of St. Louis and Shakespeare Avenues, police
said. the man was shot on the left side of his torso.
The
man was driven to St. Mary's Hospital and later transported to John H. Stroger,
Jr. Hospital of Cook County where his condition had stabilized.
