Boy, 16, shot in Gresham neighborhood

A teenage boy was shot Monday night as he walked down the sidewalk in the South Side's Gresham neighborhood.
About 11:45 p.m., the 16-year-old was approached by two males, at least one of whom started shooting.
A bullet struck the boy in the right thigh, according to police. The boy was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where his condition was stabilized. The shooting happened at 84th and Peoria
