37-year-old dead in Stevenson Expressway crash

A 37-year-old man died in a car crash on the Stevenson Expressway near Kedzie Avenue on Sunday morning
He was driving a 2000 Chevy SUV when he ran into the crash barrels in the median area between Interstate 55 and the Kedzie Avenue off-ramp about 12:50 a.m.
The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Alejandro Gonzalez-Luna of the 2200 block of South Kirkland Avenue, was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital about 1:40 a.m.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
