Robbers bind security guard with duct tape on North Side

Five robbers bound a security guard with duct tape, then stole copper wiring from a business on the North Side.
The guard was working at a business in the 2300 block of North Elston Avenue when the robbers, one of them with a gun, approached him around 4 a.m. Wednesday
After binding the guard with the tape, one of the robbers struck the guard in the head before he and the others made off with copper wiring.
The guard was taken to St. Mary's Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
