Police release photos of CVS Pharmacy robbers

Chicago Police on Tuesday released surveillance photos of two men who have robbed four CVS Pharmacy stores on the Southwest and West sides since early September.
The two have entered the stores, shown pistols and taken cash from cash registers, plus cigarettes and bus cards, according to an alert issued by Central Area detectives. Three of the four robberies have taken place in the early afternoon, one in the late morning:
5300 block of S. Western Ave., on Sept. 6, about 12:25 p.m.
3900 block of W. 63rd St., on Oct. 26, abiout 10:55 a.m.
3500 block of W. Grand Ave., on Nov. 9, about 12:24 p.m.
7800 block of S. Western Ave., on Nov. 28, about 12:45 p.m.

Descriptions of the robbers “vary,” according to the police alert, but both are black men between the ages of 25 and 50, standing between 5-foot-3 and 6 feet tall and weighing between 135 and 200 pounds.
