23-year-old man shot in South Shore

At 4:31 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in the groin, abdomen and thigh on the 2800 block of East 79th Street in the South Shore neighborhood.
The man was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County where his condition had stabilized.
