Pedestrian killed, 2 injured in taxi crash

A  pedestrian was killed and two other people were seriously injured this morning when a taxi cab struck a pole in the River West neighborhood on the North Side.
The collision occurred just before 6:10 a.m. at the intersection of Chicago and Milwaukee avenues.
The cab struck a pedestrian before striking the pole and rolling over.
One person was dead at the scene, and two others were taken to Stroger and Northwestern Memorial hospitasl, both in serious-to-critical condition,
