24-year-old shot in Garfield Park

At about 6:30 p.m. a 24-year-old was shot in the back and leg near Kostner Avenue and Madison Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The man, from west suburban Bellwood, was shot in the back and leg while standing in the doorway of a barber shop just south of Madison Street. He said "fuck you, copper" to an officer and was described by police as an "uncooperative victim."
