2 shot 1 shot dead in Austin

Someone shot two 52-year-old men inside a garage in the South Austin neighborhood Thursday night, killing one of them. The attack happened in the alley between Lawler and Leclaire avenues south of Augusta about 9:30 p.m.. The man who died was shot in the head and leg and pronounced dead at Loyola Hospital. The other was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair-to-serious condition with a gunshot wound described as non-life-threatening.
