2 dead in Chicago Lawn shooting

One person was killed and another wounded tonight in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
Darryl Manns Jr.  was killed when someone opened fire near the intersection of 59th Street and Francisco Avenue in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said. A 15-year-old boy was also killed.
Tuesday night's shooting also claimed the life of Alejandro Valdez, 15. He was struck in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died

    This is so sad to hear and I see it on the news all the time. This was my nephew and trying to make sense of this is not going to happen. I know that he is with His Lord in Heaven, b/c I raised him. What a beautifullife cut short. Someone who loved all people no matter who they were. RIP "Didda" you will be truly missed!
