Chicago named "The Deadliest Global City"

Among what are considered Alpha world cities, Chicago has the highest murder rate, higher even than the Third World metropolises of Mexico City and Sao Paolo.

    I just left Chicago after being born, raised and trapped there for years. It is the most corrupt, evil city on the planet. Want a taste of Chicago? Look at your other comments here...that says it all. That and the fact the BO comes from there! Good riddance!

    Funny how people think Chicago's more dangerous than Rio, that's amazing.

    For those who know their murder rates and follow the global city rankings, there are three very obvious problems with the list:

    1. Sao Paulo and Mexico City both have higher murder rates than Chicago.

    2. Johannesburg is an alpha city and was totally excluded. It has a higher murder rate than Chicago.

    3. Philly has a higher murder rate as well and was an alpha city at the time.

    The list has a lot of problems and was obviously written with a biased viewpoint.

    It's incredible where Chicago really is on the list, this has been totally lost by copy and paste bloggism of a poorly compiled article. Horrible misreporting.
