A 31-year-old West Side man was charged today with a shooting this week that left a 10-year-old boy hospitalized with a bullet lodged in his body.
Darris Moore, of the 800 block of North Waller Avenue, was charged about 4 p.m. with one count of aggravated battery with a firearm
Jaylen Price was outside his home in the 900 block of North Waller Avenue Wednesday evening shortly before 8 p.m., playing football with his brothers, 11 and 8, and their young cousins as they waited for pizza to be delivered.
Shots rang out down the block shortly before 8 p.m. and a bullet ricocheted off a pole and hit Jaylen in the buttocks
