A man was shot in an attack in the West Englewood neighborhood.
The man, age 43, was shot in the eye in the attack in the 7100 block of South Wood Street about 4:12 p.m.
The man, who fire officials said was 44, was taken in serious-to-critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital.
The victim was in serious condition at Stroger
